Frequently Asked Questions
Use a LiFePO₄ (lithium) charge profile and set bulk/absorb to 14.6V for a full charge on this 12.8V 100Ah pack. A 14.4–14.6V window is normal in real-world inverter/MPPT menus. Keep equalize off — lead-acid equalize voltages are too high for LiFePO₄.
After absorb, float around 13.5–13.6V, or stop charging if your charger has a LiFePO₄ storage/stop mode. For daily use, about 20–50A (0.2C–0.5C on a 100Ah pack) is a practical charge rate — stay within the BMS max charge current in the product manual.
Only if it has a true LiFePO₄ or user-defined profile near 14.6V absorb with equalize disabled. Generic AGM/flooded presets often float too high or run equalize, which can trip the BMS or stress the pack. Prefer a LiFePO₄-compatible charger, inverter or MPPT.
On a 14.6V CC/CV charge, current tapers at the end of absorb. After resting with no load or charge for about 30 minutes, a full 12.8V LiFePO₄ pack typically sits around 13.3–13.4V. Voltage under load is not a perfect fuel gauge — use a shunt or BMS state-of-charge when you can.
100Ah roughly doubles the energy of a 50Ah 12.8V pack, giving longer runtime for daily solar, backup and mobile loads.
For frequent users, LiFePO4 can deliver better long-term value because of longer lifespan, deeper usable capacity and lower maintenance needs.
Identical batteries can typically be connected with proper wiring and a compatible charging system. Confirm the recommended configuration before installation.
No. Unlike lead-acid batteries, LiFePO4 batteries do not require water refilling or acid maintenance during normal operation.
