What battery types work with the HSI 5500P?
GEL, AGM, Flooded and Lithium (LFP / LiFePO₄), plus programmable profiles. For Sunpal LiFePO₄ packs, set the inverter to the LFP profile and follow the battery charge voltages on the pack datasheet.
Can I parallel more than one unit?
Yes — up to 6 units for larger single-phase, split-phase or 3-phase systems. Match firmware, cable lengths and battery busbars carefully, or ask Sunpal before you stack.
Does it include a solar charge controller?
Yes. The HSI 5500P includes a high-efficiency MPPT (up to 99.9%) so PV can charge the battery bank while the inverter supplies AC loads.
Is this suitable for Malaysian homes?
Yes for many home and light-commercial hybrid / backup installs around the 5.5 kW class. Final sizing depends on continuous load, surge, PV Voc/current and battery kWh — use Size My System or WhatsApp Sunpal with your loads.
What warranty do I get?
This model is marketed with a 3-year manufacturer warranty. Keep your receipt and register the serial at sunpal.my/warranty after install.
